Gallipoli and ANZAC Pictures

Here are pictures from the Gallipoli Pennisula and the ANZAC landing. I'm glad I was not in those boys's shoes.

A Turkish trench. The Turkish trenches were straight lines
while the ANZACs curved.

A statue of a Turkish soldier at the Turkish cemetary.

A memorial at that Turkish cemetary.

A Turkish communication line.

This is a statue of a Turkish soldier rescuing a British Captain.

This is called the Sphinx. It is on the hill where the ANZACs landed.
